Signed Up For eHarmony

I finally finished signing up for eHarmony and paid for a 3 month subscription.  We'll see how it goes.  I haven't had too much luck in the online dating realm, only met one girl that just really captured my little heart here off guard about five years ago.

So I'm going to see how this eHarmony site works out.  Already I'm seeing some of the same matches from OKCupid... So it might be a waste of money.  I'm thinking that maybe I should try more real life things, like classes of some sort... some one told me to take community classes at some community center. Apparently they offer cooking and photography and painting etc. etc.  But I just get the feeling those are probably going to be an older crowd, or people that are already married.  Plus most people aren't specially doing things like Meetup.com JUST to date.  So for me to be there LOOKING for a significant other is a bit presumptuous of me I would imagine.

I mean, I just feel like a girl should be able to go out and socialize without every single guy trying to chat her up.  I try to imagine the girl side of things and wonder what it's like.  Sometimes I think, wow, it must be REALLY annoying if all you want to do is make some new friends (even if you are single) or just go out and do something after work... and then every single guy in the place (including me) is trying to make small talk with you in hopes that you might be "the one".

I can't even imagine.

One lady at work told me to check out this museum near me... the Brandywine River Museum.  She said that she met her husband there 20 years ago.  He was coming in as she was about to leave and they almost missed one another by mere minutes.  But they didn't and the rest is history.

Maybe I'll try that out, but that comes back to the idea of... I feel so presumptuous flirting with a girl... Like I'm invading her space.

Well anyways so yes, I did sign up for eHarmony.  Perhaps I'll take a girl to that Brandywine River Museum place as a date.  We'll see.
