My First Win!
Tonight I went and played pickleball again for my second time. It was just soooooooooooooo much fun! Wait how much fun was it again? Soooooooooooooooooo much! Yep. It was.
It's like one of the most popular meet up things. It's always booked up even weeks ahead of time. I love playing. Even thooooooough...
I've played 10 games so far... and only won once. Tonight, one of my last games was my VERY first win. So that means that last time I went I didn't win even once. Buuuuuuuuuut....
It was STILL awesome! But let me tell you tonight when I finally won a game... I got SOOOOOOOOOO excited inside. I may have done a small dance.
Everyone was like what that? I was like... sorry... I just had a moment. For me it's the little things like that. They make tingles down my spine. They just make me feel so good inside! I live for little fun things like that.
For example yesterday I was running in Valley Forge park and I as I looked out into the setting sun and the fields and just felt the wind... I just thought well this is just so extremely beautiful right now.
I just felt sudden joy all over my body. It was just peaceful yet super blissful and super everything all in one.
It's funny how even though I lost pretty much all of the games and only won 1 so far... I still just had more fun than I ever thought I possibly could have. It's weird... it's just like... I think about that in respect to life in general... I mean... there's no reason not to just always smile. Because even though most things won't be a win... I don't know it's like there's something rewarding about knowing that I can even get to the point where I'm even there in the first place.
If that makes sense. But I will say when I won, it was a nice burst of confidence. haha... I was just like whoa yea hey go me!
I'll take it. That's the thing though... with enough failures eventually there's bound to be a win! Just have to keep at it long enough!
Just be persistent and consistent and passionate and put love into it... and eventually it will pay off.
As with all the rain we've had lately here... just have to keep a puddle half full attitude! Keep it up... and don't give up!
Well I'm super duper tired so I'm going to get to sleep! But I wish everyone confidence and positive outlook in all their endevours. If you've lost every time you've played whatever it is keep going... next time could be the time you win!
