It’s going to be an action packed week!
So how about I'm so SUPER excited about my very first and very second meetup?!?!?! I'll be going this thursday to see the hunger games at the Movie Tavern in Collegeville.
I've never been to that place but as soon as I stumbled upon it on meetup.com I was like THAT LOOKS AWESOME! I clicked the RSVP button and now I'm all set! I don't have work on Thursday or Friday either. So it's going to be just a relaxing good evening getting some food with hopefully new friends and hanging out watching The Hunger Games. I CAN'T WAIT! AHHHHHHH. haha, sorry got super excited there for a minute.
OK so then on Friday I'm going to the art after 5 thing. I plan to get all dressed up all swanky like and take the train in since I don't have to work and then I might even take a little walk around the city or something maybe after. Probably not on the walk around the city. That's a little dangerous. I might take a walk around the art museum though. What I'd really like to do is find a good place with a nice authentic international cuisine. I've only had Ethiopian food a handful of times so I'd love to find place that has that! I'll have to do some researching. I'm not really interested in drinking. I'm just totally turned off from alcohol... haha... all it does is make me sleepy! And then I don't have the energy to run around and do fun things!
I'll save drinks for times when I meet up with old friends. Or I'm out for dinner with groups of people or something like that.
OK let's see... since I've totally done the end of the week first. I'm going to roll it back to the beginning of the week! Tomorrow night is quizzo night at rock bottom. I was going to check that out but I'm pushing that back to next week. When I go I'm going to order the chips and guac at bottom rock... I've had them before and they are pretty super amazing awesometastic. Tomorrow night I'm going to come home and probably go for my quick run like I do. Then I'm going to do my haircut I've been talking about. I KNOW I know... I'm all talk and no action at this point... I WAS going to do that tonight but now I'm just eating food and blogging and ready to sleep. I had SOOOO much on my to-do list for today and last night. It's tough to get it all done on the weekends when I work a 6 day week and work Saturday too. That extra day really helps!
Ok well so tomorrow is haircut night. I'm going to take a couple pix and I'll post up a blog. Tuesday I'm going to work on tweaking my video more. I also want to hit up Barnes and Noble. My Nook has apparently gone into a coma. It's not waking up from it's nap mode. I tried it today and no matter how many button combinations I pushed I got no where. So I'll see what the store people say.
Wednesday I might hit up that open mic at the epicurean place. But I'm just sooooooooooooooo into the video thing. I might just stay home and try to finish that up. I still want to have Saturday as my post day and the day that my contest starts but I'm not sure. We'll see how it goes.
Sunday is the Easter Sunday service at church so they are changing the time to 6pm to make room for another service in the morning since they are going to have a larger than usual attendance at the church service. Tonight was the palm sunday service. It was nice and they had palms in the lobby as everyone was leaving. I'm a little fuzzy still on the significance of the palms and today so I'm going to have to do some research and reading to clear things up. I think I have it for the most part... but... Just not 100 percent.
Anywho next Sunday I'm thinking of maybe going for a bike ride on Sunday if the weather is nice. I also keep seeing things on meetup for hikes around the area. I want to see what that's all about too! Although it is easter so maybe I'll see if one of my family members wants to get an easter sunday brunch thing.
Oh I didn't mention my second meetup. That one is on wednesday the 11th at 7pm and it's pickle ball! I've never played before. It sounds like a blast and a good way to socialize and get some exercise! It's at some civic center place thing or something or another. I haven't really looked it up... but I've got time. Apparently it costs 5 bucks. But for 2 hours of entertainment!?!?! 5 bucks sounds just fine and dandy to me!
