Everyone here is alone on their own today
They want to get out want to go want to run away
But their pleasantly content living in some child hood memory
Like sitting on my front porch when I was six
With imagination
to kill monsters with my fists
but I think they are
Living life like their blind
Reassured the world is fine
How were they to know
They’d all be traumatized
When they found out
The world does end
Everyone here is a ghost of a second chance
Laughing away at the one they were pointing at
You wouldn’t think it’s funny by the way he was staring back
In to all their eyes
Now he’s sitting on his front porch making a wish
He’d give Anything to go back
Kill those monsters with his fists
Make them see that
He just stuffed it all inside
Nothing ever was just fine
I wish that they could know
He was traumatized
when he found out
The hurt doesn’t mend
The world does end
Now there’s people all over the world making a wish
We’d give anything to know that
These little monsters they don’t exist
Their just fine
Living life like we’re blind
Reassured the world is fine
We don’t want to know
We’ll all be traumatized
When we find out
I just stuffed it down inside
Nothing ever was just fine
I wish that they could know
I am traumatized
Cuz I found out
The world does end
The hurt doesn’t mend
